A Prefatory Note Concerning BRAINTRUSTdv Essays
Some of the essays featured on the BRAINTRUSTdv Web site are intensively academic. Others are personal and have little value beyond the anecdotal. Some are brief, some long. Some are reprinted from other Web sites, having been carefully stalked through a disorienting jungle of often erroneous links. Others have been solicited or volunteered and are exclusive to BRAINTRUSTdv.
Whether we have been inspired to action, to rage, or simply to contemplation by the essays we have chosen to churn in our think tank, we want most of all to disseminate them, to make them conveniently available for others. Our hope is that the circulation of old-fashioned, unabridged ideas will galvanize disparate minds and fertilize productivity.
Where possible, in solidarity with the Age of Information, essays compiled by BRAINTRUSTdv cite Internet publications and provide links which benignly open the target pages in new windows so that your reading experience will not be compromised.
